1970's
First access to computing with the Commandore PET in high school.
College access via floor tile puller to campus data center!
Early 1980's
Assembling and selling clone IBM PC/XT and AT systems.
Member of local PC and Radio Shack TRS-80 computer clubs. Assembling ram modules, disassembling game system cartridges and converting to floppy disc.
Original Compuserve user over 300-baud accoustic modem via Tyme-Net satellite system.
Late 1980's
Field service technician for local business systems.
Employed as inhouse service technician, board level component repairs to PC's, printers, monitors and Commadore 64, 128's, Amiga workstations.
Taught electronics and PC repair at local adult education campus.
Early 1990's
Engineer for Systems Integrations Company. Pre and post sales design and implementation. PC LANs, Netware, OS/2 and UNIX based solutions. Sun SPARC servers, workstations and software solutions.
Mid to late 1990's
Sales Support Engineer for 2 different Multiprocessor Server manufacturers. Support for server operating systems, NT, UNIX and Netware. Support for LAN/WAN server connectivity and backup solutions.
Provided internal US and European wide sales office support for servers, laptops, WAN and Lotus Notes based apps.
2000 to 2006
Installed, maintained and managed custom retail POS systems, small office networks. Designed web based retail web presence sites, web advertising (google and microsoft), e-commerce web stores, search engine optimization.
2007 to date
Provide onsite PC hardware, PC operating systems and PC application support.
Provide web hosting and design services.
Provide Datacomm & Telecomm wiring, equipment installations and testing.
